It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that the Aldstadt family shares the passing of Vanessa Vera Aldstadt, of Northville, Michigan, who left this world far too soon at the young age of 24. Vanessa’s passing has brought great sadness to her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her. Though her time on earth was short, her memory and the love she gave will remain forever in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Vanessa was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend. She was the cherished daughter of Eric and Vera (Juncaj) Aldstadt, and a loving sister to Nicholas and John. To her family, she was a bright light — a source of joy, laughter, and inspiration. Vanessa’s kindness, gentle spirit, and warm heart touched everyone she met. She had an extraordinary ability to uplift others, and her presence made every gathering brighter.
Friends and loved ones will have the opportunity to come together to honor Vanessa’s life and offer their support to her family. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W 12 Mile Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48334. This will be a time to reflect on the many beautiful memories Vanessa created and to surround the Aldstadt family with love and comfort.
A Light Mass will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, beginning with prayers at 9:30 a.m., followed by Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Albanian Church, 29350 Lahser Rd, Southfield, MI. Immediately after Mass, Vanessa will be laid to rest in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 25800 W 10 Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48033, where she will be remembered and honored with dignity and love.
The parish of Our Lady of Albanians and the entire community extend their deepest condolences to the Aldstadt family during this time of unimaginable grief. Vanessa’s passing is a reminder of how fragile and precious life truly is.
